For Manassas Park
City Council
Who is
Perseus Ramirez
My family first came to Manassas Park to settle down for good. As a kid I made my friends and called this city my home. For two years my family moved to Egypt for a diplomatic mission, but I returned to become a proud 2025 graduate of Manassas Park High School.
I now run for City Council to empower and grow my community, through our better education, affordable housing costs, and infrastructure improvements.
The Youth of our city deserve to have their own voice be heard because Manassas Park is their home too.

As a Manassas Park Public Schools Graduate, Perseus has seen where our schools struggle firsthand. He advocates for ensuring our schools are properly funded to provide not only adequate classes, but proper support for post graduation career plans. Whether it be University or Trades, Perseus believes every student desrves proper support for their future through adequate funding and empowering teachers.
The median home buying age in America is 40 years old. Housing has become expensive. Still, even if you own a home utility costs are out of control on top of high property taxes. Perseus understands that proper affordability relies on ensuring the local success of Manassas Park businesses to diversify our tax sources and bring wealth to the community.
The roads of Manassas Park could be better to put it lightly. Properly maintained roads and improved parks make Manassas Park a more attractive place for current residents & businesses as well as future ones. Perseus knows that ensuring the city is presentable will attract new business as well as make resident's lives better and more enjoyable. It's not enough For Manassas Park to survive; we deserve to thrive.
